Occasionally, I am brought to the point of no return and I go through the house on a rampage to rid our home of any crayola products- markers, crayons, colored pencils, whatever. Usually, this is precipitated by the kids destroying some area of the house.
A mild example that happened 2 days after the painters repainted the playroom:

Well, the latest rampage has been brought about with a new fascination of Rory coloring on his siblings. (I keep having visions of him at college.) Here is a picture of Aidan going to school yesterday. I was able to wash off the marker on his face, arms and legs but you can still see the blue streak on his t shirt.
I feel bad getting rid of the markers and it seems like a reasonable thing for them to want to play with. So, I instilled the fear of God on Rory and he's been very responsible with the markers, lately. Look what I found under Molly's desk, in her newly painted room.
This is an Aidan specialty. An arrangement of farm animals with "lights" and an alphabet above. Not sure what it means but I wish he would stick to paper.
Amy, Love the blog. I love seeing pictures of the family. Enjoy the drawings on the walls, they'll be gone before you know it. Aunty Linda
